The 2008 Dodge Magnum has a spacious cargo capacity which is considered a full American size wagon. What makes it special is it has a hot rod styling and rumbling engines. Probably the one of the most interesting engine I have ever seen.
The key point here is the SRT8 with a 6.1-liter Hemi V8 that puts out 425 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque to propel the Magnum to 60 mph in about 5 seconds. That’s a bit quick, especially for a big American station wagon. The Magnum SRT8 can accordingly accelerate from 0 to 100 and back to 0 in less than 17 seconds.
It is not important to choose the SRT8 to enjoy the Magnum experience. The Magnum R/T already comes with a Hemi engine, a 340-horsepower 5.7-liter V8, and it costs about $6000 less than the SRT8.
While this car is not miserly, there is some attention given to fuel economy. The R/T boasts about a new technology that shuts down four of the Hemi’s eight cylinders when the car is just cruising, rendering up to 30 miles per gallon during those times. Let us put in a daily term, if you used it to commute on the freeway at a steady 60 mph, you could average 25 miles per gallon.
Aside from the reliable engine which is also designed for cost saving in terms of gas and petrol usage, this full American wagon also gives the safety that is due to you and your family. The test drive that we had was done in the busy streets of your hometown, Houston and withstood the heavy traffic. You may want to call your local Houston Dodge dealers for a test drive now.
